If this applies to you, it is likely that you are already familiar with the 'People Services' site (or possibly the copied DVD version) for finding out about, and accessing, DBS Civilian HR services, policy, rules and guidance.
The aim of People Services is to bring together all DBS Civilian HR services for civilian MOD employees and their managers. The services cover all of the situations you may be in as an employee or line manager of civilians and provide detail on what you need to do, are allowed to do, how you can do it and where to get help.
If you do not have access to People Services, this link provides a capability to access a factually consistent (albeit functionally limited) version of the People Services site and related documents.
Please note that where a service is provided 'Online' through the live version (such as via HRMS or DBS Civilian HR Online Forms), the internet version provides an alternative means of accessing the service, such as links to downloadable forms and details of telephone, fax and e-mail enabled services.
Please also note that although it may look like the People Services site has been copied in its entirety, there will be a large amount of both broken links and what appears to be missing information. This is because the information provided in this version of People Services is strictly limited to those pages and documents that are owned and controlled by the DBS Civilian HR or Corporate HR.
Finally, there are a few instances where a temporary reduction of service is evident in this version due to the deliberate removal of certain related documents. For example, the 'Job Search Update' and 'List of Independent Interviewers' are unavilable whilst DBS Civilian HR ensures its responsibilities surrounding the protection of personal information are fully met. In the meantime, should you require access to information that is not available via this site and you do not have access to People Services on the Defence Intranet, please contact the DBS Civilian HR PSC by either telephone or e-mail who will be happy to help.
