17 Feb 2012: Consultation period closed

The Submarine Dismantling Consultation period closed on 17 February 2012. To see key statistics on events held and responses received, and to read comments provided via feedback forms, please follow the link to "Consultation - Interim Feedback Report" in related pages. A Post-Consultation Report summarising the outcome of the consultation will follow in the early Summer. The responses received will be fed into a further period of analysis before we form our recommendations within the Ministry of Defence about the way forward. Once these decisions have been made, we will publish a further report explaining how the consultation responses have been taken into account.

8 Dec 2011: Submarine Dismantling Consultation Interim Feedback Report to 1 Dec 2011 published

This interim feedback report is intended to provide the reader with a summary of the progress of the consultation at 1 December 2011 including some key statistics on events held, the level of response and the raw text from feedback forms received (where permission has been given for publication). Feedback received in other ways, such as from workshops and in letters and emails will be reported within the post consultation report which will be published after the consultation period has finished.

28 Oct 2011: Public Consultation started.

The Submarine Dismantling Consultation started today, 28 October 2011 and will run until 17 February 2012. To access the Consultation Document please follow the link to “Public Consultation Document” under related pages (right).

4 Oct 2011: Announcement of the start date for Public Consultation

You will be able to access all the documents relating to the consultation from this website on the 28th October 2011. The closing date for responses will be the 17 February 2012. 21 July 2011: SDP Advisory Group Meeting

The last meeting of the SDP Advisory Group was held on 21 July at the Novotel Hotel, Reading. The minutes from this meeting will be issued after the next meeting.
