The Weapons Support pillar consists of both the operational support elements provided at Munitions Depots and the management of all transformational activities across the Weapons Operating Centre and associated industry. A third area of activity is the functional leadership of inventory management.

- Transformation
The Weapons Transformation Team is responsible for all business improvement activity across the Operating Centre which incorporates, inter alia, the Weapons end to end programme, the collocation of all Operating Centre staff to Abbey Wood, information knowledge management and business management system implementation and to continue to foster meaningful partnering relationships between industry and the Operating Centre to deliver improved business output.
- Defence Munitions
Defence Munitions (DM) is responsible for the safe and compliant receipt, storage, maintenance, issue and processing of complex weapons and general munitions. DM operates from a Head Office in Bicester and eight munitions depots based in the UK and Germany.
- Inventory Management
Weapons Support is responsible for the functional leadership of inventory management across all Project Teams and Munitions Depots.
