The Headquarters team provides support services for the Submarines Operating Centre, ensuring that the teams are able to perform to maximum efficiency. Main Content

The Submarines Operating Centre Headquarters responsible for co-ordinating the support functions for the Submarines Operating Centre. This allows the Operating Centre teams to concentrate on essential tasks, such as delivering the Submarine programme to support the fleet. The Headquarters consists of these sub-teams:

  • The Submarine Integrated Programme Office who define the programme across the Operating Centre.
  • The Business Support Team who are responsible for Business Management, including communications, flexible resourcing, (transferring people to work where they are needed) collocation and delivering the change programme (allowing us to improve continuously.)
  • The Career Management Team for Nuclear Suitably Qualified Engineering Personnel (NSQEP) delivering qualified people into essential roles
  • The Head of Commercial who provides commercial leadership.
  • The Finance Team Leader who provides financial information and guidance for the Operating Centre.
  • The Director Submarines Outer Office which co-ordinates the running of D Submarine’s daily business.
  • The Human Resources Business Partner team who are responsible for HR assurance and overseeing the development of our people.
