A lightly armoured engineer vehicle providing support to operations in the indirect Fire Zone, support to other operations, route opening/proving. A prototype of TERRIER was made available in May 2005.
Dismounted Counter-Mine Capabilty - DCMC
Provides hand and man portable mine detection and neutralisation capabilities for the Army.
Two Span Bringe (Pontoon) - TSB(P)
Self propelled pontoons to create a floating pier to support Two Span Bridges up to 62m.
BR90 capability sustainment programme
A programme to upgrade the bridging capability for the heavy force.
Future Battlefield Engineering Explosive System FBEES
A system of explosive devices to take advantage of improvements in explosives technology.
PYTHON capability sustainment programme
A programme to sustain the explosive element of the minefield breaching triad. Including the supply of IM compliant munitions and delivery of modified trailers that comply with European road legislation.
FRES BRIDGING Technology Demonstrator Programme
A technology demonstrator programme exploring a bridging system to be transportable by and in support of FRES( Future Rapid Effect System).
Combat Route Improvement System - CRIS
A programme to provide a short gap crossing (2-5m) capability for light to medium forces; a route enhancement capability (trackway) for light forces.
OPTICAL TRIPWIRE DETECTOR
A research task funded by Future Business Group, to develop a prototype man portable sensor for detecting tripwires by optical means.
GUARDIAN - Future Counter Mobility Capability.
A wide ranging look at Counter Mobility assets for Light Forces. Components of capability could include; Route Denial Weapon, Anti-Personnel Obstacle Systems, Less Than Lethal Barriers / Non Lethal Barriers, Point Effect Anti Vehicle Lethal Systems.
Reconnaissance Countermine Capability (RCMC)
A future programme to provide remote detection of mines.
