Network Technical Authority
The Network Technical Authority aims to drive technical coherence, consistency and effective integration across the Defence Information Environment.
The Network Technical Authority has functional control of six project teams and the Defence Cryptosecurity Authority. They deliver network, infrastructure and application Services to defence.
It aims to:
Define a coherent technical strategy and architecture for the defence network, in support of the network capability architecture and in line with the system of systems approach.
Assure the system of systems design of the network by guiding the delivery teams and approving high level designs that impact the defence network.
Improve the defence network by providing appropriate expertise to address network-wide issues.
