Sailor killed in road traffic accident in Dubai

It is with great sadness that the Ministry of Defence must announce that a sailor serving with HMS Cornwall was killed in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates yesterday, Sunday 27 February 2011.

The sailor died as a result of a road traffic accident.
Next of kin have been informed and have asked for a period of grace before further details are released.
