It is with deep regret that the Ministry of Defence has to confirm that Gunner Duncan Geoffrey Pritchard, of the Royal Air Force Regiment, died in hospital in the UK on 8 May 2003 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident whilst on duty in Iraq.

MOD Announcement

Aged 22, he was serving with 16 Squadron RAF Regiment, home-based at RAF Honington in Suffolk.

The media are requested to respect the family's privacy at this very difficult time.
