The Diamond Jubilee marks 60 years of the Queen’s reign, and various events took place over the central celebratory extended weekend of 2 to 5 June 2012, with a large contingent of military involvement.

In addition to the ceremonial duties carried out by many units, servicemen and women stationed all over the UK and abroad also celebrated the event on a more relaxed basis, organising street parties, lunches and other fun and games.
