The Old Bridge on the River Cleddau
Haverfordwest is the county town of Pembrokeshire which is the most western county in Wales. Haverfordwest can be said to be the gateway to Britain’s most westerly National Park along the Pembrokeshire Coast. The National Park offers rugged cliffs and islands, tree lined estuaries and open moorlands providing some of the finest scenery in Britain. The town is a short walk from the service families accommodation and offers a range of high street shops, an indoor market, post office and banks as well as a choice of supermarkets. On the last Friday of the month there is also a Farmer's Market, which is held on the riverside complex.
On Camp there is a Londis shop, Library, Gymnasium – which is open to all service personnel and their dependants, Army Learning Centre, Raggi's Bar (Jnr Ranks), Sgts' and Officers' Mess.
