Marchwood, Hythe and Calshot are located in an area known as the Waterside. The Waterside is situated on the edge of the New Forest, which nestles between Southampton and Bournemouth. There are several beaches, ranging from stoney (Calshot), to pure sand at Boscombe, Bournemouth and Christchurch. There are so many things to do and places to visit in this area that it is impossible to list them all here. We have only detailed some facilities/amenities, but there are many more. Call into the HIVE for any further information or pick up one of our many leaflets about this beautiful area.

The Regimental Restaurant (St Georges), Sgts & WO's Mess and Officers Mess now have the new Pay as you dine facility. Families are welcome to use the Gymnasium, squash courts and Army Learning Centre in McMullen Barracks. Information on courses in the Learning centre is held within your HIVE.
