BATSUB (British Army Training Support Unit, Belize) is situated at Price Barracks next to the International Airport near Belize City. Belize is a tiny Central American country, about the same size as Wales. Its' borders are Mexico, Guatemala and the Caribbean Sea. As you can imagine, there are amazing places to see and wonderful things to do here however, you will need transport as the public transport system is almost non-existent. It's about 15 miles into Belize City where you can easily catch local planes to take you all over the country and both these planes and the water taxis will take you out to the Cayes There is a cinema in Belize City.

There are only three main highways in the country – these are not all paved! The Northern Highway leads to Mexico, The Western Highway takes you inland and the Hummingbird Highway links everything to the Southern extremes.
