SCE Schools

Except for very small isolated detachments, primary schools are established in all overseas commands. Secondary school provision is available for all pupils in North West Europe and Cyprus, whether at local secondary schools on a daily basis - or in boarding schools in Germany at Rheindahlen, Rinteln and Gütersloh.

Transfer from primary to secondary school is usally at the end of Year 6 (age 11) although in Sennelager, Germany, children transfer at the end of Year 4 from a first school to a middle school and into a secodary school at the end of Year 8. In Gibraltar, St Christopher's School caters for children up to the end of year 7 (age 12).

SCE also operates 4 Music Centres, one in Cyprus, and 3 in Germany.

In addition SCE has 6 Careers Centres, one located at each SCE Secondary School.
