BFPO Numbers are seperated into two areas, the first are issued for HM Ships with the second being issued for all other locations.
Static BFPO Numbers
These are used for a given location, and/or group of isolated detachments, and will not move.
HM Ships
These BFPO numbers refer to a specific ship or Naval Party, regardless of its' location around the world, although some may refer to land-based naval establishments.
UK Post Codes
The Royal Mail has issued special UK Post Codes for BFPO numbers that can be used when ordering from UK based web sites.
