Secretary of State for Defence delivers the final address to RCDS
On Wednesday 20th July, the Secretary of State for Defence, the Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP visited RCDS to deliver the final address to the RCDS Members of the current course.

The Defence Secretary provided an overview of the challenges for the UK and the steps he was taking to address the challenges facing the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces. There then followed an opportunity for discussion with the current course, where the Defence Secretary answered a wide range of questions, particularly from the Overseas Members on the course. The College is grateful to the Defence Secretary for the full and frank session of issues at the strategic level, reinforcing the commitment the College made to its Members at the start of the year, to offer them the opportunity to engage and debate and decide for themselves about matters at the highest political level.
