Our library houses an important collection of approximately 26,000 books and pamphlets, focussing on military studies, politics and international affairs. It has a large collection of research papers - including a full set of Members' dissertations and Seaford House Papers and subscribes to just over 200 current periodical titles.
The Library provides Members with access to a number of e-journals and on-line databases primarily designed to assist them with their research.

Restricted to staff and Members (MoD and Other Government Departments by appointment)
Borrowing:
A loans service is primarily available to staff and Members. Requests from MoD and Other Government Departments may be made although availability of material cannot always be guaranteed. Access to details of books, dissertations and journal articles is available on a computerised catalogue. Every Member is automatically registered as a library user. Where items are not in stock they can be obtained quickly and efficiently via the extensive network of libraries in the UK.
Photocopying:
Photocopying facilities are available between 09:00 - 17:00. Numbers of copies are limited in accordance with the Copyright Law.
