Adventurous Training - Mountaineering
This wing is operational by utilising qualified staff from other wings when not undertaking their core activities. The Mountain Wing is based in The Troodos Mountains. It is a spectacular location especially for Summer Mountain Proficiency (SMP). It’s not the most arduous environment but nonetheless it’s a challenging and rewarding experience.
Currently the courses provided are at Level 4. It is envisaged that further development of the mountain activities will be enhanced by the establishment of a 1 x ATPT ATI, with the ability to deliver a variety of courses, throughout the year.
