JARIC Mission:- To deliver IMINT, MASINT and GEOINT derived intelligence, information, services and liaison elements in order to support the achievement of Defence objectives.

JARIC is based at RAF Brampton in Cambridgeshire.
Role
JARIC - The National Imagery Exploitation Centre, is part of the Intelligence Collection Group (ICG) within the Defence Intelligence Staff. JARIC’s primary role is to support Defence Planning, current operations and the intelligence assessment process.
JARIC also provides specialist, advanced imagery intelligence to the armed forces and other intelligence partners through the exploitation of satellite imaging systems in addition to airborne and ground-based collection systems.
The team at JARIC use these sources together with advanced technologies to provide regional intelligence assessments and contribute to national strategic projection.
JARIC's tasks also include:
- Imagery Intelligence support at the Strategic and Operational level including tactical imagery intelligence in support of UK deployed forces
- Production of illustrated graphics to support operational planning and current operations, including the precise application of air power
- Make available trained, experienced military personnel of all ranks to support command level staffs and other military units engaged in military operations
- Hold and maintain the UK's national imagery archive and reproduce imagery and geographic-based products to support planning, security exercises and other training by military units worldwide
