Miscellaneous facilities

The establishment has a well stocked Mace shop located in the Community Centre building.

• Open Monday to Friday - 0700-2300
• Saturday and Sunday 0800-1400 1800-2200

There is automat outside the shop open 24 hours per day. Additional vending machines are located in the JHQ and NCC.

Next to the shop is a cafe serving coffees, hot meals/snacks (takeaway and eat in) and pastries.

The Junior Ranks' Club and Bar 'Rumours' is also in the Community Centre building.

ATM

There is a cash machine located in the community area, opposite the entrance to the Cafe. All other main banks and building societies have branches with cash machines located locally in Northwood.

Northwood Volunteer Band

The Northwood Volunteer Band is run by a Royal Marine Bandmaster and performs engagements in and around the Northwood HQ. The rehearsals are on a Monday and Wednesday evening at 20:00.

The band needs players to keep it going. It does not matter what standard you are because instruction is available. If you are interested please contact the Bandmaster on 57890 and he will be pleased to help.

Hairdressing Salon

A unisex hairdressing salon (Basically Hair) provides a full service for both male and female personnel and their dependants.
