Mr Williams has over 30 years experience in Professional Services with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), 20 of those as a partner. During that time he has worked as Managing Partner for Regions Assurance and also acted as the Chief Opearting Officer - Strategy and Change.
He has also worked with some of the UK's largest organisations across the Public and Commercial sectors.
Mr Williams represented the Partner group as an elected member of their Supervisory Board. He was also a member of the Board’s Audit Committee.
He has worked with global and national clients in all major sectors on Governance, Risk and Compliance matters and control processes.
Mr Williams also led on the development and implementation of the PwC Strategy. This involved working with, External Parties, the Executive Board and Partner Stakeholder Groups to assess the Professional services marketplace and develop a Strategy to help differentiate PwC from its competitors.
He is married to Kim; and has four children (Josh, Max, Kathy & Natalie); he plays the guitar, and has a small farm on which he has recently built a new house and he enjoys watching cricket and rugby and playing golf.
