It has a carriage drive and porch at the front and patio area and steps leading to a gravel drive and gardens at the rear. Extensive wooded grounds, fountain and other water features. The house is an Officers' Mess so filming can be restricted depending on occupancy.The salon is sufficiently large to serve as a hotel foyer, meeting room, dining room or ballroom and the drawing rooms have been used as meeting rooms, offices, restaurant or bedrooms. The immediate grounds are large enough for a major unit-base and hard standing is available elsewhere on the station.
