LFA 3 is situated in southwestern England. It has a usable area of 921 km2 (356 sq mls) and is the Dedicated User Area of RNAS Culdrose.

Dedicated User Areas are areas allocated to a particular military user, however permission can be granted for other military aircraft users. These are primarily used for rotary wing training. As the level of activity in these areas can be high, different booking arrangements apply.
