Future Reserves 2020 Study (FR20) Final Report

The Future Reserves 2020 study (FR20) is an independent review of the UK Reserve Forces.  Commissioned by the Prime Minister in October 2010 as part of the Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR), the aim of the study was to explore options to ensure that the UK Reserve Forces are correctly structured and supported to meet future challenges out to the year 2020 and beyond.

The FR20 Commisison was led by the Vice Chief of Defence Staff, General Sir Nicholas Houghton, who was supported by Julian Brazier MP and Lieutenant General (Retd) Sir Graeme Lamb.

JSP 532 - Guidance for reservists returning to civilian employment following a period of mobilised service

The purpose of this guide is to explain what your rights as a reservist returning from a period of mobilised service are, how to protect those rights and how to exercise your rights should you need to.
 
These rights are laid out in the Safeguard of Employment Act 1985 (SOE 85) which applies to all reservists.
