This white paper sets out how the MOD will procure technology, equipment, and support to meet the UK’s defence needs, at a cost which is affordable and represents value for money for the UK taxpayer.

It supersedes the ‘Defence industrial strategy 2005’ and the ‘Defence technology strategy 2006’ and was written in collation with responses received from the consultation green paper on ‘Equipment, support, and technology for UK defence and security that was published in December 2010.

Presented to Parliament by the Secretary of State for Defence by Command of Her Majesty.
