On 26 January 2011 Minister for Defence Equipment, Support, and Technology (Min(DEST)) asked Lord Currie of Marylebone to produce an independent report into single source pricing regulations. Lord Currie delivered his report on 10 October 2011 and within this context the Government undertook a 17 week public consultation.
A summary of the responses from the public consultation has now been published. (See link below) The MOD will consider Lord Currie’s report and the results of the public consultation. This will be followed by further engagement with industry and wider stakeholders on which aspects of the independent report to take forward.
